Management quota seats: the rank and the fee
Every management seat we hold, with the rank it closed at and the fee it carries — on the same row, because the seats that stay open at the largest ranks are the ones that cost the most, and reading those two facts apart is how people commit to a fee they did not need to pay.

A larger rank is not a cheaper seat. Management quota seats stay open to ranks the government quota closed long before — and they cost several times more. Every row below keeps its rank and its own fee together, so the two are never read apart.

MBBS management seats — rank only
481 seats across 341 colleges. We do not publish a fee for these, because the source does not. The UG counselling data lists several unlabelled fee blocks per college and never says which quota each belongs to — so any figure here would be a guess, and a guess about an management fee is the most expensive kind to get wrong.

Common questions about management quota seats
- How much does a management quota medical seat cost?
- For MD/MS, published fees run from ₹1,000 to ₹1.50 crore a year, with ₹23.00 lakh in the middle. A single average would be meaningless across that range, so the table lists each college's own published fee against its own closing rank.
- What rank is needed for a management quota seat?
- Management seats closed anywhere from rank 2 to 2,30,087 in the latest MD/MS rounds — they stay open long after the government quota at the same college has closed. That is exactly why the fee belongs on the same row: the seats still open at the largest ranks are the most expensive ones.
- Is management quota the same as a private college seat?
- No. A private college usually has several kinds of seat — a government or state quota at a controlled fee, a management quota at the college's own fee, and sometimes an NRI quota above that. The same college can therefore appear at three very different prices, and the quota column is what tells them apart.
- Do you publish management quota fees for MBBS?
- No. We hold 481 MBBS seats under a management quota and their closing ranks, but the UG counselling source publishes unlabelled fee blocks per college without saying which quota each belongs to. Printing one as a management fee would be a guess. The ranks are below.
- Is a management seat worth taking?
- Sometimes, and often not. Before paying for one it is worth checking how far the government and state quotas actually reached at your rank — for a good number of candidates they reach further than expected, especially in later rounds. Our predictor answers that from the same published data, free.
Ranks and fees are what the counselling authorities published, not a forecast and not a quotation. A college can revise its fee, and the authority’s own notice is the document that settles it.

Is a management seat actually your best option?
These are the most expensive seats in Indian medicine, and for some ranks they are unnecessary. Bring your rank and we will tell you honestly whether the government or state quota reaches far enough first.
